“A victim reported snow shoes and two bicycles were stolen from her open, unlocked garage. She provided a serial number for one of the bicycles, a Trek 73FX valued at $1,000, as well as several photographs of the bicycle. I searched LeadsOnline and found that an individual sold the bicycle to a local business. I went to the business, photographed the bicycle, confirmed the serial number, and verified it was the victim’s. I returned the bicycle to the victim and filed the burglary, theft and pawn broker violation.”
