“While investigating an unrelated theft complaint in my city, I came across a transaction in which the subject sold a revolver to a local shop. The subject caught my attention because I know he is a felon and cannot possess a firearm. While at the pawn shop, I requested the video as well as the contract in which the subject signed that he is the owner of the revolver which he brought himself to the pawn shop.
