“While working the day shift patrol, I was dispatched to a burglary that had just occurred at an apartment complex. The victim was advising me that her front door was kicked in and several electronic items including a large TV, stereo system and an iPad were stolen. She had the serial numbers for all items and advised me she had rented them from a local business. I was able to look up the victim through LeadsOnline and observe she sold all of the reported items several months prior to my call. I filed charges of false report resulting in her arrest.”
