“I responded to a victim’s residence after another detective discovered the victim’s stolen items were sold by a known suspect. Since the suspect was currently incarcerated on a multitude of similar charges, the detective felt these items were possibly stolen as well. He obtained the victim’s information and provided it to me. I contacted the victim, who then discovered his property was stolen. He was unaware of the burglary until I inquired about it. The suspect was subsequently charged accordingly.”
