“One of our school resource officers made me aware that four Yamaha clarinets had gone missing over a two-week period from one of our public schools. A quick check on LeadsOnline showed that one person sold four Yamaha clarinets on two separate occasions, and the serial numbers matched our missing items. The suspect was located and admitted that when she was picking up her step-daughter from school she grabbed a couple clarinets from where band instruments were kept and sold them. After a couple of weeks, she grabbed two more and sold them as well. The cost of each clarinet is around $900, so the suspect is being charged with two counts of felony theft.
