“I submitted a LeadsOnline search and discovered a defendant sold the Lawn mower listed in an incident report from 11 days earlier. The serial number provided by the owner of the lawn mower matched the serial number on the transaction ticket. I called and spoke with the store manager and placed a law enforcement hold on the mower. The next day, I took custody of the lawn mower and brought it back to the Edmond Police Department where I booked it into the property room as ‘recovered stolen property.'”
