“Two burglaries occurred in Brookville, Ohio and the homeowners of both burglarized homes were able to compile a list of stolen items and corresponding serial numbers. Investigating officers entered serial numbers of the stolen property into LeadsOnline, which alerted officers that the stolen property had been sold. LeadsOnline provided Investigating officers with the name and location of the business and most importantly, the name of the individual who sold the stolen items. With this information, Investigating officers were able the interview the individual who sold the stolen items and arrest two suspects. Investigating Officers continued to search for the remaining property. Additional searches through LeadsOnline found more stolen property had been pawned by the suspect.”
