Multiple jewelry burglaries solved via LeadsOnline

“I just wanted to share a story of a number of recent burglaries that have occurred in our city (Pharr, Texas) targeting Winter Texan trailer parks. Numerous burglaries were reported in the past few months and with very little leads. A couple of weeks ago I received information of a possible female suspect scene leaving the area on a bike from a crime scene. I recalled an elderly female that was residing in our city that was always on a bike and a suspect to a theft of a wallet in a trailer park. I immediately ran the name of the female on LeadsOnline and found that she had pawned off a number of pieces of jewelry to a pawn shop in our city. I assigned the cases and all the information I had on this suspect to Inv. Quilantan. He immediately went to the pawn shop and placed a hold on the items and photographed them. Five burglaries were solved that day including one where over $30,000 worth of jewelry was taken by this female. The female was picked up within a day and gave a confession on all the burglaries she committed in our city and one in Weslaco, Texas. LeadsOnline has still shown our department to be an excellent tool in solving crimes. I would like to thank you guys and the good work done by my investigator (Juan Quilantan).”
