“A victim had hired an exterminator to treat for bedbugs. He also asked the exterminator to treat his father’s house. Although there were no eyewitnesses, he proceeded to remove jewelry and electronics from both apartments. We had the opportunity to interrogate him with little success. While under interrogation, another co-worker entered his name on LeadsOnline and produced a positive hit! We then went to the pawn shop and retrieved the stolen property. He was appropriately charged with grand larceny.”
