“After checking the NCIC hits in LeadsOnline, we found a confirmed stolen GPS unit from a larceny of an automobile. The GPS was sold to a shop the same day it was stolen by our suspect. Novi Police Detectives scheduled an interview with the suspect, which he failed to show up for. The suspect was still active in selling merchandise, according to LeadsOnline, and the decision was made to track him down. He was located, responded back to the station with the Officers voluntarily and gave a full confession to this LFA as well as others in our city and in surrounding jurisdictions dating back to the summer.”
