Tennessee investigators round up stolen property sold in several counties

“I was assigned a residential burglary investigation involving over $90,000 in property, mostly jewelry, and no possible suspects. Some of the jewelry was unique in description. I typed a description of some of the items into the LeadsOnline database and came up with a possible match on some of the items. The victims went to the pawn shop and identified the items. I was able to identify three suspects in the case, two of which are in custody because of the information I obtained through LeadsOnline. I have also been able to recover approximately $40,000 worth of property with more pending. Without LeadsOnline I would not have been able to locate some of the property because of the large number of pawn shops and gold exchange places in three different counties.”
