“I was assigned a burglary case with no forensic evidence gathered at the scene. The victims had several names that they submitted as possible suspects, along with their dates of birth. The victims did not have any serial numbers, but some of the stolen items were unique. I searched LeadsOnline for sales for the victims and the suspects and I actually located two sales by one of the suspects. I contacted the business and seized the items. An arrest affidavit was filed with the District Attorney’s Office for the suspect.”
