“A complainant noticed some of her priceless sterling silver missing and confronted the maid who had been working for her for approximately two years. The maid confessed to stealing the items. A more intense inventory was conducted and the complainant discovered more silver missing along with a lot of expensive jewelry, prompting her to file the police report. I began an investigation by using the LeadsOnline program to search the pawn shops for any activity involving this maid. I located a history dating back to one year which included $173,430 worth of sterling silver and jewelry that are part of the stolen property reported stolen by the complainant.”
