I was able to verify the serial number was the same as the one stolen from my jurisdiction. I am in South Carolina, and the iPad was located at a cell phone/tablet ATM in Texas. During my investigation, I identified the suspect as a resident of where the crime occurred. Positive identification was made, and we successfully closed this case. The item was recovered and returned to the owner.
