“Our agency took a burglary report last week where the victim only knew the make and model of his stolen chainsaw. In reviewing the transactions, I found one of the people who had sold the same make and model at a store and the address was only three doors down the road from my victim. I seized the chainsaw and then had our distributor check the correct serial number, and it came back belonging to our victim.
