“A report came in on Monday about a $26,700 jewelry theft that occurred over the weekend. The suspect was known, so once I typed him in the LeadsOnline search Monday afternoon, of course he popped up. He had pawned most of the jewelry Saturday, and we were able to respond and put a hold on the pieces. Once a friend of the suspect got wind of the investigation, he convinced the suspect to turn the remaining pieces over to the case investigator. Warrants were signed and all jewelry recovered.
