“While investigating a theft I entered a serial number of the stolen laptop into the LeadsOnline search. Several weeks later I was notified by email that the stolen laptop had recently been sold at a local pawn shop. From that pawn, we were able to identify a suspect which ultimately lead to his arrest for multiple thefts and burglaries in our jurisdiction. Our surrounding law enforcement partners are now looking at the same suspect for multiple criminal offenses within their jurisdiction.”
