Suspect steals from his own girlfriend’s family

“In May, I was dispatched to a theft complaint. I later found out that the victim’s granddaughter’s boyfriend had stolen jewelry from the grandparents. I searched the suspects name on LeadsOnline and found that he had sold the jewelry. The jewelry has since been held and will be returned back to the rightful owner.”

Search leads to serial residential burglar arrest

“Port St. Lucie Police Detectives were investigating a burglary, and we didn’t have any suspect information or basically any leads. We received a LeadsOnline notification that a digital camera that was reported stolen was sold at a local shop. We went to the shop and verified that the camera was in fact our victim’s. When we spoke to the person who sold the camera they advised us that his accomplice was responsible for five residential burglaries and that he gave him the camera to sell. Throughout our investigation, we recovered a camera, multiple gaming systems, a firearm, U.S. Currency, and several other items. This case would not have been solved without the LeadsOnline report. This case was cleared by arrest and two suspects are now in jail. Thank you LeadsOnline!”

Using LeadsOnline, officers can help one another across state lines

“While using LeadsOnline I became aware of a male who was selling cookware at various locations throughout Philadelphia and in New Jersey. After making contact with the businesses and retrieving bar codes, it was determined that the items were being stolen directly from the warehouse in New Jersey. Another officer notified the owner of the warehouse which led him to contact the police in New Jersey. New Jersey law enforcement arrested the employee of the company who was stealing cases of merchandise. The merchandise was in the thousands of dollars. LeadsOnline has been a great tool!!”

LeadsOnline helps law enforcement help their victims

“LeadsOnline keeps me so busy I don’t usually have time to give them the pat on the back they deserve. I have solved numerous cases because of LeadsOnline and their awesome staff. I’m currently working a case where a couple stole from an elderly couple, and the victims refused to believe that the suspects in this case had stolen from them. I told the victims that I knew 100{eaf91c7142ede36c84724a2d24afac6a4a8d633fc6fbb2c5a4d5437c75438ec9} who sold their stolen items because LeadsOnline nailed them, and I was able to recover ALL of their property. “Recently, a theft of a lawn mower, miter saw, edger, air compressor, and nail gun took place in New Orleans. Mason City officer proves lying woman wrong with evidence acquired through LeadsOnline

“Last month, a female came into our police department and filled out a report for a stolen Nintendo DS. The female had the serial number, however, the serial number is a sticker attached to the DS. She told me that she had searched her house for a week and could not locate the DS. She told me she did have a friend over that is usually `hard up` for money. I searched on LeadsOnline but could not locate the DS by serial number. I then entered the friend’s name and BOOM, there was the friend’s name on a transaction ticket with a red Nintendo DS. She did not want her friend charged, she just wanted her property back and for me to tell the friend she was not welcome at the residence anymore. I called the friend and initially played dumb. She was very rude and vulgar with me as she put the blame on the owner’s kids saying that they probably stole the DS or that the kids maybe took it to the pool and left it. I then informed her that I had the transaction slip in my hand with her name and what she sold and when. There was nothing but silence on the phone. I then informed her she was not being charged and she confessed to everything. Her attitude with me over the phone changed and she was apologetic and appreciative and even called me honey before the conversation ended.”

Jewelry recovered for elderly victim in Indiana

“With information from LeadsOnline I was able to locate and return seven rings stolen from a 91-year-old victim. The victim was helping a young lady who was down on her luck and pregnant. The female took advantage of the victim, and stole between nine and 12 rings from her, pawning or selling each one. LeadsOnline allowed me to locate one specific ring by description, which led to locating several others pawned by my suspect. The victim was able to identify the rings, including her original wedding bands from 1942 that were given to her by her husband just before he was shipped out to World War II. “I was recently assigned to a patrol-based burglary investigator position, and LeadsOnline has been a very valuable tool. Along with the case involving firearms that were recovered, we have also recovered a very high end (collector’s edition) filet knife (only in Alaska would a filet knife be a collector’s item), and a Nikon DSLR camera that was stolen from a local business. LeadsOnline opens the door to suspect

“Thanks, LeadsOnline, I was searching for a suspect and all I had was the phone number that the suspect had used. I search the phone number in several sites without success. LeadsOnline was my last site to check. In fact, I started to NOT check LeadsOnline because I was unsuccessful on the other sites; however, I checked anyway. Turns out it was the site that open the door to my suspect. Awesome! My suspect used the phone number when he sold the items he had stolen. LeadsOnline tracks down fugitives on the run

“In a neighboring agency, a young woman had a firearm stolen. It was determined that her father had stolen the firearm from her and sold it at a business. Her father then fled and was not seen again for several years. The agency issued a felony warrant for his arrest; however, the case went cold. The victim stated that her father was a good man prior to falling in with the wrong crowd and marrying a woman affiliated with that crowd. The victim provided me with a name and date of birth. Using LeadsOnline, I searched for that woman and two entries were found. Both were where the suspects had sold some power tools and cellular phones. Solid intel, solid bust – suspect identified same day

“Officers responded to a burglary of a residence. Upon arrival, the officers identified that the homeowner left his residence between 9:30 – 9:40 a.m. and returned around the time of the call at 6:30 p.m. When the homeowner arrived home, they noticed someone had kicked in the backdoor of the residence and had stolen a Nintendo gaming system, NABI tablet and various pieces of jewelry. Officers processed the scene and a report was taken. When I arrived on scene I asked the initial responding officers if there were any possible suspects and I was advised that the homeowners noticed a male subject near their house just prior to them leaving for work. I logged onto Leads Online to conduct a search. While reviewing the results, a name of a known offender within our community popped up and showed recent activity, as recent as 11:30 a.m. on the same day of the burglary. The items pawned were identified as those stolen from the residence. Through LeadsOnline, we were able to show that only an hour and a half to two hours passed between when we knew the residence was secure to when the suspect was pawning the stolen items!! Suspect denies crimes, but LeadsOnline proves otherwise

“LeadsOnline was instrumental in the arrest of a burglary suspect. We had previously interviewed the suspect who was denying involvement in the crime. We let him go and continued the investigation. Using LeadsOnline, we found out that he had pawned a lady’s ring two towns over. We obtained a detailed description of the ring from the victim and went to examine the pawned ring. The ring was identical to the one described by the victim. We took possession of the ring and the elderly victim was able to positively identify it as being her mother’s 50th anniversary wedding ring. Using the information that we now had we were able to elicit a confession for the burglary from a previously uncooperative suspect. When faced with the evidence that LeadsOnline provided us we were able get a confession and the victim was able to recover a family heirloom.”

Multiple jewelry burglaries solved via LeadsOnline

“I just wanted to share a story of a number of recent burglaries that have occurred in our city (Pharr, Texas) targeting Winter Texan trailer parks. Numerous burglaries were reported in the past few months and with very little leads. A couple of weeks ago I received information of a possible female suspect scene leaving the area on a bike from a crime scene. I recalled an elderly female that was residing in our city that was always on a bike and a suspect to a theft of a wallet in a trailer park. I immediately ran the name of the female on LeadsOnline and found that she had pawned off a number of pieces of jewelry to a pawn shop in our city. I assigned the cases and all the information I had on this suspect to Inv. Quilantan. He immediately went to the pawn shop and placed a hold on the items and photographed them. Five burglaries were solved that day including one where over $30,000 worth of jewelry was taken by this female. The female was picked up within a day and gave a confession on all the burglaries she committed in our city and one in Weslaco, Texas. LeadsOnline has still shown our department to be an excellent tool in solving crimes. I would like to thank you guys and the good work done by my investigator (Juan Quilantan).”
